A
Between each unit it is 1000 times larger or smaller than the other (eg. Km is 1000 times bigger then a metre)

A
Divide by 1000 or times 10 to the power of -3

Divide by 1000 or times 10 to the power of 3

Divide by 1 million (divide by 1000 twice)

A
Times number of centimetres by 10 to get millimetres. Times the amount of millimetres by 1000.
