France and Japan had complete control over Vietnam, but in 1945, Vietnam declared war
Communist Revolution for Vietnamese Independence
The act of pulling out of a country because of revolts, economic instability, or loss of need of the smaller country
Decolonization
Shaped the current government of India. One of the first Nationalist movements in this area
Indian National Congress
This protected the rights of Muslims in India
Muslim League
This is when India split up into Pakistan and India. This brought conflict because Pakistan was primarily Muslim and India was mostly Hindu
Partition of India
Zionists wanted to make a place for jews could be free from prosecution
Creation of Israel
A larger country that has colonies

A nonviolent ruler of India that led them to independence from Britain.
