A very important revolution in the world’s shifting of power. This revolution ended the 30-year dictatorship in Mexico and established a constitutional republic. It was fought against Porfirio Diaz, the dictator. Diaz’s defeat shifted the power of Mexico from a dictatorship to a more open government
Mexican Revolution
This revolution was the beginning of the rise of communism. The events of this revolution also set up the Soviet Union and sets the stage for the future including ww2 and the cold war.
Russian Revolution
Many causes came into play including nationalism and imperialism, but the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was the specific event.
Causes of WWI
The 2 world wars are examples of this. It is when all countries are either directly fighting or helping an allied country that is fighting.
Total War
After the first world war, the global economy was at an all-time low. During this time, there was a decrease in industrial activity, mass unemployment, and homelessness
Great Depression
Under Franklin D. Roosevelt, the US underwent many economic reforms in response to the great depression.
New Deal
Invented by Joseph Stalin. The goal was to industrialize the economy which put a lot of emphasis on industrial production.
Five Year Plans (Soviet Union)
In most cases, fascism and corporatism come together. This was a corporatist economy with fascist ideas sprinkled in too.
Fascist Corporatist Economy
This occured in ww1 when there was something needed to break the cycle of war. This system took the land where the Ottoman empire used to be and used it to try to stop the fighting in conquered land.
Mandates
Some causes include, the Treaty of Versailles, rise of fascism in Germany, and the great depression.
Causes of WWII
Some include new guns and nuclear power. Gas chambers and other ass murder tactice were used by the Nazis.

This is the name of the attemp of a genocide of a minority population located in Europe.
Holocaust
According to some scholars, collectivization in the Soviet Union and lack of favored industries were primary contributors to famine mortality, and some evidence shows there was discrimination against ethnic Ukrainians and Germans.
