Teaching & Training Pathway
The Teaching & Training pathway includes people who are very knowledgeable in a given subject (or multiple subjects) and who are able to communicate, motivate, inspire, and understand educational and emotional needs. These are the people who educate, instruct, and train others to better understand subjects and materials.
Examples of careers that fall into this pathway
child care workers, nannies, classroom aides, coaches, human resources trainers, physical trainers, teachers, and college/university faculty members.
resilience
ability to bounce back and be flexible
Administration & Administrative Support Pathway
Those in the Administration & Administrative Support pathway are the people who make the overall process of an educational or training place run successfully and smoothly. People in this pathway provide leadership, direction, and day-to-day management of educational activities in schools, preschools, daycares, colleges/universities, businesses, industries, correctional institutions, museums, and other job training sites.
what type of education do you have to have for this pathway?
Most jobs/careers in this pathway require at least a bachelor’s degree, if not higher. Some careers that are part of this pathway include school administrators, principals, superintendents, college deans/presidents, and educational researchers.
Professional Support Services Pathway
The Professional Support Services pathway includes many highly-specialized jobs and careers that are important to education and training systems. People in this pathway assist and help people with personal and family needs, mental health issues, educational goals, and career-making decisions.
Examples of these jobs include
parent educators, clinical psychologists, counselors, speech language pathologists, and social workers. People in this pathway might work in an education building or a clinic.
what type of education do you need for this pathway
Since these jobs are highly-specialized, many often require an education beyond a bachelor’s degree, though some jobs (such as parent educator) may require only a bachelor’s degree.
