American system (Sectionalism?)

A

-Banks called taxes from poor farmers, who can’t. Most banks are in NJ. Most tools of farmers were European meaning that they would have taxes on them.
-Tariffs only protected northern manufacturers and, can’t help southern farmers.
-Infrastructure was a waste of money. Most were in the North.
