what is selective breeding
-breeding paticular animals for particular characteristics
-we choose which species would reproduce and survive so natural selection is affected
what is the process of selective breeding
1.from existing stock, select ones with desirable characteristics and breed them together
2.select the best of the offspring and breed them
3.continue this over several generations
4. eventually all offspring will be desirable
