During expansion the Berber people of Africa decided to join the Muslims and helped them continue their expansion. Because of this conversion the Muslims did a lot of trading and made the African cities very wealthy with gold and other things.

The political situation between the Han and Sui dynasties was a lot of warring states. This caused certain changes like: Labor decline (increase of slavery) Lots of small kingdoms Lots of different types of rulers Decentralization won out for a while but empires came back

Southernization is the spread of luxury goods from South of the equator in and near the Indian Ocean. It is so important because people and mainly Europeans implemented slavery and exploration in order to plant sugar. Southernization caused Westernization
How did the arrival of Islam affect the Indian Ocean World?
It greatly increased the trade of the luxury goods, it allowed the goods to spread a lot throughout the world
