Listing which candidates move on to the next stage of selection.
What are interviews?
- Meetings between the candidate(s) and organisation.
- Can be physical or online (Zoom, Skype, Teams etc.)
Name three advantages of interviews
- Assess candidates ability to cope under pressure
- Ask questions about application form & CV
- Observe body language & personality of candidate
- Allows for candidate to ask questions about the job and organisation.
Name three disadvantages of interviews
- Can be time consuming
- Candidate(s) may underperform when nervous
- Candidates may perform well but be unpleasant/unsuitable to job when employed
