Q

What is the collision theory?

A

When suitable particles of the reactant hit each other, only a certain fraction of the collisions cause any noticeable or significant chemical change

Q

Why does temperature affect rate of diffusion?

A
  • Higher temperatures increase the energy
  • Therefore increased movement of the molecules
  • This means more collisions and successful collisions will occur.
