Agility
Agility is the ability to move and change direction while maintaining control
Balance
Balance is the ability to keep the body stable by maintaining the centre of mass over the base support
Static Balance
Is performed with little or no movement
Dynamic Balance
Is performed when movement takes place during a balance
Cardio Vascular Endurance
Cardio Vascular Endurance is the ability for the heart and lungs to supply oxygen to working muscles
Co-ordination
Co-ordination is the ability to use two or more different parts of the body smoothly and efficently
Flexibility
Flexibility refers to the movement possible at a joint
Muscular Endurance
Muscular Endurance is the ability of a muscle or muscle group to undergo repeated contractions avoiding fatigue
Power
Power is the product of strength and speed
Reaction Time
Reaction Time is the time taken to start responding to a stimulus
Strength
Strength is the ability to overcome resistance
Maximal Strength
Maximal Strength is the greatest force that is possible in a single maximum muscle contraction
Static Strength
Static Strength is the amount of force exerted on an immovable object
Explosive Strength
Explosive Strength is the amount of force exerted in one quick muscular contraction
Dynamic Strength
Dynamic Strength is the amount of force exerted repeatedly by a muscle
