What is flexion?
Flexion is the term given when the angle at a joint decreases
What is extension?
Extension is the term given when the angle at a joint increases
What is abduction?
The movement away from the midline of the body
What is adduction?
The movement towards the midline of the body
What is rotation?
When the bone at a joint moves around its own axis, so making a circular motion
What is plantair flexion?
Movement of the foot downwards towards the floor
What is dorsiflexion?
Movement of the foot upwards towards the shin
What is a joint?
A joint is the place where two or more bones meet. It is where movement can occur.
