- Parents often have a very strong influence on their children’s career choices
- Earning the potential to choose a career the money is not the best idea because if you don’t enjoy it’s not worth the money
- Industry and economic changes. Changes in the industry and economy have the potential to affect your career choices. If your prospective career is flooded with new university graduates, you may find it difficult to find a job

Travel agents. travellers can use the internet to research vacation destinations and book their own trips leading to fewer demands for travel agents

Admission point score
is a system that awards points for the marks you obtain in the National Senior Certificate exams. The calculation of an APS score is based on a candidates achievement in any six NSC 20- credit subjects
Why is LO not included in the APS score?
LO is a 10 credit subject and may not be used for calculating te APS and the subject is not a faculty specific subject requirement
what are national benchmark tests used for
- to help make decisions about your access to the institution and to determine whether you are ready for academic study
- to support you. The results are used to decide whether you will need extra academic support after you have been admitted to the university

Benefits of learnerships
- people who work for a company as a learner are more likely to get hired for a full-time job after completing their education
- The more connections you have, the better it is for your future
- you get practical experience and exposure when you study with a learnership and adding it to your CV puts you in a better position
Aerobics
for of exercise that stimulates and strengthens the heart and lungs and improving the body’s oxygen utilisation
Cardiovascular
The circulatory system consists of the heart, blood vessels, and blood. This system carries nutrients and oxygen throughout the body and removes carbon dioxide and other waste
Fitness improvement
A type of aerobic activity that is maintained continuously for a minimum of 20 minutes and is performed four to five times a week in order to improve the body’s physical endurance

A state of well being in which you realise your own abilities, cope with the normal stresses of life

Types of aerobic exercises

Swimming and water aerobics
provide the same type of cardiovascular workout as aerobic exercise on land but better for your joint health and there is less chance of impact injury than with on-land sport
Benefits of Biking/ Cycling
Cycling offers you the ability to get a good workout or alternatively, to enjoy some relatively leisurely exercise. This depends on your goals: competitive cycling in the form of road racing, or touring gravel passes on a mountain bike
