Civil Disobedience
- disobedience is the act against law
- due to the laws being unjust
- to get the attention of the government
3 principles of Civil Disobedience
- no violence
- directed against harmful laws
- taking responsibility and facing punishments of disobeying

- government that give people who are under the law certain rights and freedoms over the actions taken by those in power
- rule of the people
- must follow the rule of the constitution : fundamental laws of the nation

Role of the Media
- a blessing and a curse
- influence both the public and the government’s opinion
- allows the public to learn about the politics and who is in power
- without the media, politicians would have no brand recognition
Media Concentration
- the number of independent news sources had decreased
- the remaining papers are owned by a small number of corporations
- goes against the democratic principles of diversity and plurality
- few are aware of this trend
