- government should play a larger role
- unjust conditions exist due to wealth not being shared
- government should look after the disadvantaged
- government should own resources to make it available to all people
- change in world views = less tradition
CENTRE
- government and the people should have a shared role
- unjust exists due to non gradual change = logical and slow changes
- governments must be realistic about caring about the costly disadvantaged
- both government and private owned enterprises
- individual choices should be made about their personal lives
RIGHT WING:
- individuals play a larger role
- society’s problems should be solved on their own (every man for themselves)
- any money made should remain their own (no tax)
- government should not interfere with private businesses
- laws should ensure privatization
