Ligaments, tendons and muscles attach to bones to create stability and movement

Muscles pull on long bones to create movement

tibia and fibula are pulled backwards to flex the knee
What do some bones produce?
they produce red and white blood cells from their marrow
what to red blood cells do?
carry oxygen
what do white blood cells do?
fight infection
Storage
Bones store important minerals
what minerals do they store?
calcium and phosphorus
what do those minerals do?
support growth and development
What is the movement range in Fibrous joints?
Fixed/Immovable
