Fresco is a painting on wet plaster. Cartoon is a drawing to the scale of the final design made by the artist. Cartoon can be used to make a fresco. For example, Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling are frescos.

In drawing, the vanishing point is a spot where lines meet on a horizon line, usually at the deepest point. A horizon line is essential in art because it allows you to control the height of a viewer’s eye as they look at the picture.
