Unannunciated Checklists Flashcards
Describe the condition & if there are any memory items associated
Aborted Engine Start L, R
Condition?
Condition: On the ground, an aborted engine start is needed
Memory items
ADS-B Failure
Condition?
One or more of these occur:
* ATC reports ADS-B Out is lost or degraded
* On the CDU POS REF 3/3 page, the GPS L line is blank and the left transponder is selected
* On the CDU POS REF 3/3 page, the GPS R line is blank and the right transponder is selected
Airspeed Unreliable
Condition & Objective?
Condition: Airspeed or Mach indications are suspected to be unreliable.
One or more of the following may be evidence of unreliable airspeed or Mach indications:
* Speed/altitude information not consistent with pitch attitude and thrust setting
* Airpseed or Mach failure flags
* PFD current airspeed box amber
* An amber line through one or more PFD flight mode annunciations
* Blank or fluctuating airspeed display
* Variation between the captain and first officer airspeed displays
* Radome damage or loss
* Overspeed warning
* Simultaneous overspeed and stall warnings
One or more of the following EICAS messages may show:
AIRSPEED LOW
GND PROX SYS
HEAT PITOT L
HEAT PITOT R
HEAT PITOT C
HEAT PITOT L + C + R
OVERSPEED
SGL SOURCE AIR DATA
SGL SOURCE DISPLAYS
WINDSHEAR SYS
AIR DATA SYS
Objective: To identify a reliable airspeed indication, if possible, or to continue the flight using the Flight With Unreliable Airspeed table in the Performance Inflight chapter
Memory items
Automatic Unlock
Condition?
The correct emergency access code is entered
Bomb Warning in flight
Condition?
A bomb warning is received while in flight
Bomb warning on the ground
Condition?
A bomb warning is received while on the ground
Cabin Temp Cold
Conditon & objective?
Condition: Flight deck or cabin temperature is excessively cold. The temperature can cause incapacitation
Objective: To regain temperature control or to descend and configure for manual ventilation
Cabin temp Hot
Condition & objective?
Condition: Flight deck or cabin temperature is excessively hot. The temperature can cause incapacitation.
Objective: To regain temperature control or to descend and configure for manual ventilation
Ditching
Condition?
Airplane ditching and evacuation are needed
Dual engine fail / stall
Condition?
Condition: Engine speed for both engines is below idle
Memory items
Eng In-flight start L, R
Condition?
An engine start is needed and all of the following are true:
* There is N1 rotation
* There was no engine fire
* There is no abnormal airframe vibration
Engine limit/surge/stall L, R
Condition?
Condition: One or more of these occur:
* Engine indications are abnormal
* Engine indications are quickly nearing or show an exceedance
* Abnormal engine noises are heard, possibly with airframe vibration
* There is no response to thrust lever movement or the response is abnormal
* Flames in the engine inlet or exhaust are reported
Memory items
Eng Svr Damage / Sep L, R
Condition?
One or more of these are true:
* Airframe vibrations with abnormal engine indications
* Engine separation
Memory items
Engine Response? (300 ONLY)
Condition & Objective?
Condition:
One or both engines do not reach commanded thrust or roll back, and fuel system icing is suspected (indicated EPR is below commanded EPR and fuel temperature is below -10 degrees)
Objective: To clear ice from the fuel system by reducing engine fuel flow while descending, then checking for proper engine response
Evacuation?
Condition
An evacuation is needed
