Describe the pathology of UC
There is continuous inflammation
Inflammation is confined to the rectum and colon
The inflammation is confined to the mucosa and submucosa
Describe what causes UC?
This is the result of an environmental trigger in a genetically susceptible individual

Bloody Diarrhoea Mucous in stool Tenesmus General Malaise Anorexia Clubbing Liver Failure

Diarrhoea twenty times a day

If the patient has had UC for more than 10 years`

Remission
