Sure, I am a recent graduate in electronic engineering, achieving a first class honors from royal Holloway university of London. I am passionaite about driving positive change in the energy sector and helping achieve a more sustainable future. Throughout my studies I developed my analytical skills through data science and analytics projects, and in my own time I also completed the google data analtics course along with the Shell: Data for energy skills to further improve my analytical thinking and data visualization skills.
Why are you interested in this role at UK power networks.
I am interested in this role because it allows me to use my technical skills to contribüte to a sustainable and efficient power network. Asset management is crucial for optimizing the electrical network, and with my background in data analysis and electronic engineering, I believe I can make a positive impact in a field that directly affects millions of people’s lives. This role aligns perfectly with my passion for sustainability and the energy transition, and I am highly motivated to contribute to UK Power Networks’ mission of delivering reliable and sustainable power
What do you know about UK Power Networks?
UK Power Networks is the largest electricity distribution network operator in the UK, delivering power to 8.4 million homes and businesses across London, the South East, and East of England. They manage and maintain an extensive network of electricity cables and lines, ensuring reliable and sustainable power supply over a 29,250 square kilometer area. The company is dedicated to supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon future by investing in network infrastructure, integrating renewable energy sources, and promoting electric vehicle adoption. What interests you about the energy sector
I am fascinated by the energy sector because it is at the forefront of technological innovation and plays a critical role in shaping a sustainable future. The transition to renewable energy and the integration of smart grid technologies present exciting challenges and opportunities. I am passionate about contributing to solutions that ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy for communities
Where do you see yourself in five years
n five years, I see myself taking on greater responsibilities within asset management at UK Power Networks, possibly in a leadership role. I aim to deepen my expertise in network optimization and contribute to strategic projects that drive sustainability and efficiency. I also hope to mentor new graduates and share my knowledge to help them succeed
How do you stay motivated in your work?
I stay motivated by setting clear goals and breaking them down into manageable tasks. I find motivation in the impact of my work, knowing that I am contributing to important projects that benefit the community. Additionally, continuous learning and professional development keep me engaged and excited about my career.
What are your long-term career goals?
My long-term career goal is to become a leading expert in asset management within the energy sector. I aspire to work on innovative projects that drive the transition to sustainable energy and improve network efficiency. Ultimately, I want to make a significant impact on the industry and contribute to a greener future.

I value a job that offers opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth. I handle repetitive or mundane tasks by maintaining a positive attitude and focusing on their importance in the larger context of my work. I also look for ways to improve efficiency and streamline processes, which keeps me engaged and ensures that these tasks are completed effectively.
