bluejacking is a hacking method that allows an individual to send anonymous messages to Bluetooth-enabled devices within a certain radius. First, the hacker scans his surroundings with a Bluetooth-enabled device, searching for other devices. The hacker then sends an unsolicited message to the detected devices

The social utility of the cell phone was the second most important reason that respondents used it. The most important reason was information-seeking. They reported using the cell to get traffic updates, to keep up to date with events and stocks, and to check news headlines. Affection was the third reason noted, with respondents saying they used their cells to improve relations with their family. Fashion and status came fourth, followed by mobility and accessibility. It should be noted that this study was done before cell phones could take pictures.
