In 2019 Government introduced Finn’s Law after it got over 100,000 signatures, it gave greater protection to police animals after the police dog Finn was stabbed.

TIE tried to use a petition at the begining of their campaign to change law around Scottish education to make it more inclusive, however it got only 1,000 signatures and got rejected.

Recently Scotland became the first country in the world to have an LGBT inclusive education system, largely because of the lobbying done by TIE where they lobbied enough MPs and gov ministers to gain their support.

recently the UK gov consulted on letting disabled people vote electronically, but took a year to respond by rejecting the idea
