Define compact bone and where it is located?

A

Is densely packed with calcified salt, which makes it strong and heavy. It is only found in the outer layer of bone.

Q

Define spongy bone and where it is located?

A

Has many spaces within matrix, which are filled with bone marrow, the holes make it weaker and lighter. It’s found in the inside of our bones
