Where citizens participate directly in decisions rather than electing representatives

> The monarch holds complete power with the absolute authority to rule as they see fit.

> The monarch is bound by a constitution that involves power sharing with other governmental powers
Example of this is in the Netherlands

A head of state has a mainly ceremonial role while the majourity of the power lies within the parliament of Westminister

Oligarchy
A social structure where power is concentrated in the hands of small groups
Dictatorship
> A form of government where a person has all power and control over a country
A dictator has many distinctive characterisitcs including manipulation skills, narrcissim and ruthlessness
Theocracy
A religious institution that has control and influence on politcial systems
