A
it clearly states the stages of conformity and can be applied to real life situations

What is the weaknesses of Kelman’s types of conformity?
A
- it assumes that when a person who publically agrees but disagrees in private must be comliance however it could be that they agree publically but then their agreement dissipates later because they forgot or recieved new information
- it also assumes that a person who agrees publically and privately must be showing internalisation but they could be complying publically as a result of self-perception
