Abnormal narrowing of the spinal canal
A
Spinal stenosis, or DJD (Degenerative joint disease).
classically will have low back pain radiating posteriorly to ankles and feet, worse with erect posture.

What is the forward slipping of one vertebrae on another called?
A
Spondylolisthesis. (it looks like one disc slips posteriory). Frequently asymptomatic

Sciatica
A
Pain of the lower back and legs, usually from compression of sacral nerves of the sciatic nerve.

Neurogenic claudication
A
Inflamation of nerves that may cause a limp (claudication = limp)

Spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis
A
Former = Fracture of the pars interarticularis Later = forward displacement of vertebra usually resulting from the fracture.

A
Fracture of the pars, spondylolysis.
