Hurricanes - North East Pacific, Atlantic ocean
Typhoon - West Pacific
Cyclone - South Pacific & Indian

What are different parts of a cyclone?
A
Eye - calmest part of the storm
Eyewall - Destructive, extreme wind
Rainband - Rainy & windy

What are the factors needed for cyclones to form?
A
- Sea surface temperature of 26.5+ (Gives the cyclone strength and energy)
- Low wind shear (Prevents the cyclone from being interfered with)
- Humid air (This allows them to form storm clouds)

What is the scale used to measure hurricane intensity?
A
Saffir SImpson scale, hurricanes are placed on a range from category 1-5.
