Trichuris clinical presentation
A
The whipworm eggs hatch in intestine and specifically migrate to the cecum.
Heads attach into intestinal lining, causing pain, bloody diarrhea, and weight loss.
Symptoms directly proportional to the worm load, and infection is initially asymptomatic
Severe load may cause blockage, and rectal prolapse from effort of defecation
Appendicitis if appendix is blocked.
Worms lay massive number of eggs and can live for many years.

Stool O and P test shows
bi-polar plugs on heavy bile stained eggs.
there will be many eggs.
