Are leading questions permitted in examination-in-chief?

Leading questions cannot be asked and any evidence elicited by such questions is inadmissible. Leading questions may be asked where evidence is not in dispute. Mostly non-leading qs drinks are asked in examination-in-chief.

Cross-examination: leading questions are permitted.
