• Respiratory muscle strengthening
what are some hyperinflation therapy
- Deep breathing • Assisted / directed cough • Huff • Incentive spirometry • IPPB • CPAP • PEEP
What are the essentials of a treatment plan?
- Identified problems • Goals for treatment (SMART) – Goals should be specifically aimed to correct problem • Strategies for achieving goals • Estimated time to meet goals • Expected outcomes and evaluation plan
What are smart goals
Specific: what you will do to meet the goal
Measurable: use an action verb
Achievable: the goal isn’t too hard to reach
Realistic: significant to the patient
Time oriented: has a end date or timeline
