Positive: >10cc blood, >100,000 RBC, >500WBC, food particles, bile, bacteria
Needs to be superior to umbilicus if pelvic fx
Misses: retroperitoneal bleed, contained hematoma

A

IVC compression- dec cardiac output
Gut mal perfusion
Renal vein compression->dec urine output
Upward displacement of diaphragm- hard to ventilate
