Sodium

A

Unstable metal. Highly reactive to water and moisture in air. Brush off and cover the wound with the oil used to store it.

18
Q

Riot Control Agents

A

Normally just an irritant. Supportive treatment. Irrigate with saline if needed.

19
Q

Four Phases of Definitive Burn Care

A

-Initial Evaluation & Resuscitation
-Initial wound excision & biologic closure
-Definitive would closure
-Rehab, Reconstruction, Reintegration
