What is peptidyl-tRNA hydrolysis in prokaryotic translation termination?
When RF occupies the A-site, the 50S subunit breaks the bond between C-terminal end of polypeptide and the 3’ OH end of the tRNA by adding water.
What happens to the ribosome after peptidyl-tRNA hydrolysis?
Its components dissociate.
