With longer events athletes do not tend to be practicing their consumption practices in training, as it is unlikely they will be doing a marathon every week.

A

Prevalence is 10-90% depending on the type of event being done

Most frequent symptoms are dizziness, nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea.

occur With ingestion of concentrated carbs, fibre, fat and protein.
