What is a FWN?
Used when a defect if found that impacts train from safely operating.
Place in the two end cabs as well as fault warning stickers on speedo in the cabs.
Who is a TDIR submitted to
To the Depot Manager via Correspondence Box.
What is a Driver Altered Running Form
If timetable is altered it may be handed or transmitted.
What is a CAN Warning Notice
Condition Affecting the Network
Can be handed or transmitted
Is a warning only

What do you communicate to passengers when there is a delay? (3)
Reason for delay (if known)

When do Drivers have to inform TC of delays?
A single delay in excess of 3 minutes
Cumulative delays in excess of three minutes
What are the Bell Codes?
One ring - call attention
Two rings - proceed
Three rings - Set back slowly
Four rings - Call Competent Employee to front of train
Series of rings - Emergency Stop
How do you obtain Emergency Keys from FFS?
Contact PD.
Fill out info into Depot Note Book
How do you obtain Emergency Keys from Outstation?
Advise PD via Phone
Enter code for the Key safe or break seal if wooden box
Endorse the Note Book
Remove the full set of keys
What do you do if asked to take items from one station to another?
Agree to but don’t sign anything
