Section 113 - General Road related powers
DIMDFFD
D - Direct person on road to give details
I - Inspect, test, examine ie. vehicle
M - Move the vehicle
D - Direct vehicle to be moved
F - Forbid unlicensed driver not to drive
F - Forbid unlicensed transport operator not to drive
D - Direct people/traffic
Section 114 - Stopping vehicles and demanding details
- Demand: Particulars
- Blue and red lights and/or siren
- Uniform hat/badge
Can hold for 15 mins to get identity details
Section 115 - Banning vehicles from road
Forbid vehicle = order it off the road
Green sticker = Defective (WOF)
Pink Sticker = Unsafe (inspected)
Section 118 - Obtaining info
- Demand details fro driver (driver/owner)
- Any offence and act
- 14 days to provide details of owner
UNLESS it’s for pursuit and then its IMMEDIATELY

Suspicion of: Dangerous, drunk driving, speeding
Follow them and MUST be fresh pursuit
ENTER by force if necessary to carry out EBA procedures
Section 121 - Taking Keys and forbidding to drive
FARMED F - Forbid A - All R - Render M - Move E - EBA D - Direct: to a specific place of rest
Leave keys in envelope at station with name and location of vehicle
Section 122 - Seizing Vehicles
12 hour impound for safety purposes
Section 123 - Seizing Vehicles
7 day impound for forensic investigation
Section 95 - Suspending Licenses
28 day suspension of DL
ie. 650+ EBA
Section 90 - Suspending licenses + disqualifying from driving
