- Receives
- Any stolen property
OR property obtained by another imprisonable offence - Knowing property to be stolen
OR being reckless as to whether property was stolen or obtained

- Potential to gain control over item
- An intention to exercise control over item

- Direct Evidence

- Purchased at gross undervalue
- Suspicion around acquisition of property
- Nature or amount of property
- Falsely denies possession
- Concealed property so hidden from police
ELEMENTS of Robbery

- Theft
- Accompanied by violence
OR threats of violence - To any person
OR property - Used to extort the stolen property
OR used to prevent/overcome resistance to property being stolen
Describe Robbery
Theft accompanied by violence

- Person causes GBH before /after/during robbery to any person
-With anyone/other persons who robs any person
OR
- Person armed with an offensive weapon, robs with another person
