A

Fully charged brake pipe (500 kPa+) reverser in “off” position
Have trip lowered and set
BVICS is open

Blue Key can then be turned to “test” in the VICERS key switch

A

Open BVICS, charge brake pipe to approx 400 kPa (brakes start coming off)
Operate trip lever down (discharge air from trip)
Put brake into emergency (exhaust all air)
Put brake to run & release (recharge brake pipe)
Brake to step 7
