Stages of acetaminophen toxicity

A

1) < 24 hours. N/V, anorexia, malaise. HypoK. Met acidosis
2) 24-72 hrs. Abd pain, hepatic tenderness.
3) 72 hrs. Fulminant hepatic failure. Encephalopathy. Elevated AST/ALT, Bili, PT. Coagulopathy, AKI, met acidosis, pancreatitis.
4) > 5 days. Recovery or MOD
