Integration and profiler are setup, Customer says no activity is showing up, even though data is being synced. What do you tell them?
In order to have the activity data in Eloqua Profiler display for your reps, they will be required to enter their Eloqua User login credentials – which means that you will need to load them into the Eloqua system as user records.

When you send emails and want it to look like it comes for the task owner, what do you need to do?
Enter the CRM user ID for the user in the CRM User ID field under CRM details from the user edit screen.
This should be the user ID from the CRM system for the corresponding user if they will be using eloquent engage. This will be used to long a users tract activities and tasks in their integrated CRM system. This field is only visible if the Oakwood database has an integrated CRM system
What is the Engage Sales tool used for?
It allows sales people to send templated sales emails to small numbers of contacts with similar profiles.
What is the Profiler Sales tool used for?
It allows sales people to view a summary of a compact profile along with individual activity.
When an Engage email is sent to a contact that does not exist in Eloqua, what happens?
The contact is created in Eloqua immediately.
Where does Profiler get its information from?
The Eloqua Database
What needs to be configured to be able to send an Engage email from CRM on the sender’s behalf?
The CRM User ID needs to be added to the Eloqua User account.
