Boscombe - part of a bournemouth town - south coast of england
Name a risk with the fieldwork?
-could get lost from the group
-be careful with other people
-wear sunscreen/hats/glasses if hot
What is quality of life?
The genreal well-being, happiness and contenment of an indivisual,family or society eg amount of green space , quality of vehicles
What is standard of living?
Refers to the level of wealth,comfort,material goods and necessities available to an indivisual eg feeling of safte or healthcare
Explain fully how a biopolar survery works?
1)go to a location and give it a reading for noise/green space/services/traffic and saftey

Limintaions:weather/could be dangrous/human error
Explain how a traffic count would be carried out?
1)everyone choose a different vehicle then set a 5 min timer and count how many of your vehicle goes past
Equipment:stopwatch/result table
Limitations:human error/where we are located
Explain how to carry out mood mapping?
1)using a mood board we choose the mood that best repersents that locationlocation(eg scared)

Explain how to carry out housing quality survey?
1)visit 4 chosen houses which are all different and rate them on quality/features/apperance

Limitations:hard to judge/opinion/human error
What are the pros and cons of annotated photographs?
Pros:secondary data so you dont have to take the picture or be there
Cons:not your picture you do not know if it is 100% the right location or what might be arround the house (hard to judge a whole area with just a still image not 360 degrees)

What is primary data?
Information that is collected first-hand eg photographs,tallies or measurements
What is secondary data?
Information that someone else has previously collecte and made available eg on the internet
