Pro’s:
Nearly unlimited range only limited by food supply and the crews mental stability
Much higher energy output
No need to surface the submarine other than to discharge waste overboard
Con’s:
Diesel electric is much quieter when running on battery power only
Nuclear submarines are much more expensive than diesel/electric
