They are responsible for making sure who they hired is competent
Human Resource (HR)

Type of recruitment done when the company is new.
External method
Type of recruitment done when the company is already existing. Involves identifying who are qualified to be promoted by the the HR department.
Internal method
Done after recruiting and pooling possible candidates. There can be period wherein each candidate will be evaluated for selection

Orientation about the company, policies
Placement & Orientation
Learning should not be stagnant, training and activities must be conducted by the HR department
Training & Development
Done yearly where the staff is evaluated.
Performance appraisal
Programs that will help staff improve technical skills for promotion in the future
Promotion & Career planning
The ability of the company to give just compensation.
Ex. salaries, benefits
Compensation
Written explanation that outlines the essential responsibilities and requirements for a vacant position.
Job description
Done to complete the data on the content and requirements of each job to establish objective standards
Job analysis
Methods used for job analysis
Observation, interviews, questionnaire, checklist, diary / log
Academic staff, chief PT, etc.
