What are the three important steps of completing a goal?
Helps focus, increases motivation and enables monitoring of how well your doing.
Specific- Needs to be clear and give details of what the goal actually is
Measurable- Can you measure it? Record results? Compare?
Achievable- Push yourself with your goals but failure could demotivate. Be realistic.
Realistic- Do you have access to equipment/training you need to achieve it? Is there something that could limit you?
Time bound- Set a time frame to meet it. If there is no time pressure then it’ll put you off.
Goal—Activity—Review.
