Q
  1. What is the difference between Open- and Closed-Loop DBS with respect to the control of the
    stimulation?
A

Open look - Stimulator either on or off and programming Session and thats it

Closed loop - Stimulator - Sensor - Processing Unit - Programmer - back to stimulator

Will turn off and on when in normal or adbormal state

Only stimulating when brain is in abnormal state
