Solution - Soluble materials are dissolved into the water and carried along.
Saltation - Medium size particles bounce along the sea bed
Suspension - Smaller particles float in the water e.g Clay
Traction - Large rocks are rolled along the sea bed

Describe the difference between hard and soft engineering.

A

Man made structure built to control the flow of the sea and reduce and erosion. Soft engineering is schemes set up using the knowledge of the sea and its processes to reduce the effects of flooding and erosion.
