1. Repeat the experiment to investigate the effect of pH on the rate of enzyme activity using the optimum pH (9) until before the graduated cylinders are placed in the water bath.
2. Place the graduated cylinders in a water bath that is ice cold. (0 degrees C)
3. Remove and pour hydrogen peroxide into he other graduated cylinder.
4. Note and record the volume at the top of the foam after 2 minutes.
5. Calculate the volume of the foam produced.
6. Repeat using temps 10, 20, 30,40,50 and 60 degrees C.
7. Record the results in a table.
8. Draw a graph of the results.
9. As controls, repeat each procedure but do not ass blended celery or add blended celery that ahs been boiled (denatured enzyme)
