What is a TNC?
A large corporation that operates in different countries with its headquarter in one country
What are examples of TNC’s?
McDonalds, KFC, Nokia, Apple
What is a primary sector?
People working with natural resources (E.G. fishing, mining, farming, anything regarding agriculture)
What is a secondary sector?
People making new things (E.G. constructing a house/road, building a car)
What is a tertiary sector?
People who provide service to the population (E.G. Solicitors, dentists, hairdressers)
What is a quaternary sector?
Where people research, find and gather information and involves communication (E.G. Scientists, doctors, astronauts)
What’s a negative about TNC’s?
Exploitation of workers
What’s a positive about TNC’s?
More investment, more jobs
