Muscular….

A

Skeletal= cells held together in bundles, filled with fibres, multi Nucleic. Let’s you VOLUNTARILY move limbs, hands, feet etc. found between bones to assist in movement.

Smooth= non striated. Involuntary. Moves food through digestive system. Found in walls of organs (stomach intestines, uterus)

Cardiac= contracts to pump blood around body.increased contractions means increased metabolic activity. Involuntary. Doesn’t tire, cant repair.

A

Binds other tissues together. Supports bones, protects organs,trans sports blood, insulating (fat), movement. Located in central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Works under skin, ligaments, adipose (fat), cartilage, bone, blood

A

Protects from sunlight, pathogens, lines organs, reduces friction, secretion of hormones, absorbs materials. Found in skin, inside mouth, vessels, digestive system, glands, lungs.

Nervous…

A

Contains neutrons (conducts nerve impulses). Detects charge in environment, coordination of body activities, carries messages from one part of body to another. Found in brain, spinal cord and nerves.
