Representative of this burden is crippled condition
That he is crippled evokes the financial issues that many poor families faces in 19th century

Relationship between the two. Tim is a deception of the relationship between the two social classes and the divide between the two
Tims fate is linked closely to Scrooge’s fate which heightens the connection that dickens established between the 2 classes
Wealthy do not do their part to support the less fortunate
