➊ Ringing, Buzzing, Hissing, or Humming noise

➋ Unilateral, Pulsatile, Asymmetrical HL, Vertigo, Neurological symptoms

➌ No identifiable cause and often occurs with SNHL

➍ • Ear wax
• Meniere’s disease
• Noise exposure
• Medications
• Acoustic neuroma
• MS

How is it managed?

A

➊ • Bloods – FBC, Glucose, TSH, Lipids
• Examination – Otoscopy, Audiometry, BP, CNs

➋ Sound enrichment, Relaxation/Stress reduction techniques, Hearing therapy and aids
